I feel like it happens when it’s very cold, I replaced my spark plugs and coils since march and still went into limp mode even after a 2 minute warm up, although I restarted my car and drove normal again so, and I’ve been having this issue since last year so valve adjustment maybe? I haven’t done it yet and idk any mechanic that does it

 

Check for codes, hoss. Man, I haven't gotten to say hoss in a while.
Consider rechecking spark plugs if they didnt get torqued to 20ftlbs. Valve adjustments are nice and can keep your engine running like it should (if you haven't had one and you're getting up there in miles, you'd feel the difference), but I'd be a little surprised to think you'd wind up in limp mode cuz of valves.

But enough about valves, lets talk about mechanics AND valves. think people have said it cost them around $800. If that's unreasonable, maybe find a cool independent. It's really standard once you get all the cowls off.
