Accessorize

I have not seen much info posted on accessories yet, so thought I would share the info from a dealer brochure:

Accessory Packages: [I'm not sure what these include]
All-Season Protection Package
Protection Package

Exterior:
Body Side Molding
Car Cover
Carbon Fiber B-Pillar Trim
Door Edge Film
Door Visors
Engine Block Heater
Fog Lights
Full Nose Mask
Rear Bumper Applique
Splash Guards
Sport Grille
Stainless Exhaust Finisher
Wheel Locks
16" Alloy Wheels

Interior:
All-Season Floor Mats
Ashtray, Cup Holder Type
Carbon Fiber Interior Trim
Cargo Cover
Cargo Net
Cargo Organizer
Cargo Tray
Carpet Floor Mats
Center Armrest
Door Sill Trim
First Aid Kit
Interior Illumination
Keyless Entry
Leather Shift Knob (AT/MT)
Leather Steering Wheel Cover
Remote Engine Starter System
Security System
Sport Pedal (AT/MT)
USB Audio Interface

I'm still trying to figure out which of these accessories are automatically included in the Sport model, which I have pre-ordered. My wishlist includes: Fog Lights, Rear Bumper Applique, Sport Grille, Wheel Locks, Carbon Fiber Interior Trim, Center Armrest, Door Sill Trim, Interior Illumination (is this standard on Sport??), Keyless Entry, Remote Start, Security System, USB Audio Interface :popc:

Here's a good overview of the standard features:

Honda Media Newsroom Release: 2009 Honda Fit Specifications and Features

The Sport model definitely comes with fog lights, keyless entry, driver-only armrest, and the USB interface. The interior illumination is accessory only, as are the other items. Not sure what kind of security the Sport comes with.

Here's a good website to view the accessories:

My understanding is that: Fogs, keyless entry, and the USB interface are included on the Sport model.

I'm gonna get the rear bumper applique, wheel locks, door sill trim, center armrest and interior illumination. All that carbon-fiber-look stuff doesn't really do it for me..

try this

Sport version also comes with map light.

If it also has VSA standard (w/o navi), it would be perfect for me. Unfortunately VSA cannot be added aftermarket. :(

I went to look at an '09 fit yesterday - unfortunately I couldn't test drive because a couple went to sign the papers as I walked in the door :(

However, I did pick up a brochure and thought people may appreciate the info on accessories and colors.

I wouldn't buy any accessories from the dealer.

Lets see the price on that first aid kit.

And the rims with the weight

And how many threads are there with "the Fits all weathers mats are not worth $100ish"?

do not get sucked in looking at all the pretty and overpriced stuff!!

KCHoosier 08-30-2008 04:28 PM

That's good advice, Cab. I won't be buying accessories from the dealer unless they can come close to the prices on College Hills Honda's site that Niko posted above. I assume those are going to be about the cheapest around.

My wife says everything that I want isn't in the budget anyways! So I'll have to acquire them over time.

Thanks everyone for the links, good info.

Bummer. I do not see Power Locks as an option. Hope it is standard on the DX or else i may have to pony up for the LX to get it. :(
