I also have a 09, so far I have only found Honda parts such as dash trim, shifter, floor mats and so on. You can do the HID thing and change your fog lights. JDM_DOHC_SiR has the JDM hook up, I think he might be able to score some springs for you.

First free mod to do is reprogram your locks: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...rs-please.html

Slowira: sounds cool. Guess I'll check out floor mats and the HID's. I'm waiting to hear back on some springs.

virtual: thanks for the heads up. I'll take care of that tonight

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure there is a short shifter available for the 09 fit. I can't recall which thread it was in you could try and search for it. I am actually interested in the short shifter as the throws are pretty lengthy in the fit.

The short shifters are the same... 07~09... they work with all GD & GE Fit`s

short shifter won't do me much since I'm auto trans. but it's good to know what's out. there should be a sticky in this forum with everything that is available.

Does the short shifter alter the shift FEEL quality at all? I wouldn't mind having shorter throws, but I don't want the effort or tactile feel to change one bit.

As far as headlights go, I skipped HID conversion, saved a bit of money, and installed the new Sylvania Silver Star Ultra bulbs, which I am extremely satisfied with them. I just came away from an Audi with factory HID headlights and the light is nearly as bright (if not as "white.")

And the Ultra's in the Fit are significantly brighter than the "standard" Silver Star's in our 06 Outback, so they're worth the extra $20 per pair.

$59.99 at AutoZone.

so any short shifter that works on the 07 will rock-out on the 09? does it matter if you get a straight shifter or a bend, or a double bend? SKUNK2 single and double bend... I've already bought the stainless shift knob from these guys which i am EXTREMELY satisfied with. not only does make my shifting throws feel more solid, but it translates a teeny bit more tranny vibration which makes me feel a tad more connected to the car (considering i can't hear the engine when i'm blasting ziggy marley)
