Might the '09 Fit be MotorWeek's "Best of the Year"?
This week's MotorWeek on PBS is the annual Best-Of episode. I just watched last week's episode last night, and at the end they had their usual promo for the next episode. They mentioned this week they would have their 2009 Driver's Choice Awards and their Best of the Year. As the announcer said "Best of the Year", the video panned across the lower portion of a red vehicle's front bumper showing the air intake and slightly oval shaped fog lamps. I'm pretty sure it was an '09 Fit Sport. That doesn't necessarily mean the two go together, but I could very easily see that being a teaser.
Guess we'll find out this weekend. |
Thanks for the info. I just checked a channel guide and it shows that the SPEED channel will show that "Drivers' Choice Awards" episode at 10:30 AM eastern today (Fri. Feb 13th).

Good Lord, does the speed channel actually show something other than stock car racing? LOL
|
watch it on PBS no commercials.
if they got a slow Genesis, the fit is surely in. |
Well... The episode on SPEED channel wasn't listed correctly in the channel guide. It was the same one as mentioned by txmatt.

It's a good possibility that it'll win.
On another note, when viewing Canadian Driver's review of the Fit, not only did they give it high praise, but this is the first review where they really couldn't find any complaints on a car. Their dislikes were zero. Go Fit! |
sweet! It's like watching a sports event a nailbiter of a game...

Well, hell. That's enough categories that the Yugo could've won something.
