my experiment: Carbon Fiber overlay for Fit Emblem on the hatch
1 Attachment(s)
Tonight I made this:
Attachment 67260 It's faux carbon fiber that looks pretty decent in real life. I did it as a dressing for the otherwise plain emblem. I've got some stainless steel and carbon fiber jewellry I really like and that's what this reminds me of. This was the first attempt. The next one will fit the FIT emblem a little better. I want there to be some chrome visible arount the cf, so it looks like an inlay rather than an overlay. I put it on in the dark, and it was cold, but I couldnt wait. This would probably look pretty cool using a color too. I think if there's interest I'll start making these. I also plan on doing one to fill the black areas of the big H on the rear hatch vinyl. I can do carbon fiber, or colors too if people want. Eric |
looks pretty good, but for a moment there I was thinking you meant to make a Carbon overlay for the trunk garnish where the H badge is, I think that would look nice.

PM'd you.
Eric I think it might look good on the H emblem as well, but the way you had it there looks perfect I think. I rather see less chrome |
