How much were they

09blackfit 05-15-2009 08:11 AM

They're $99. Been looking at these too. When you say "a bit off" are they worth the money? These OEM all weather mats just aren't doing anything for me these days.

mole177 05-15-2009 11:53 AM

yeah...abs plastic or rubber is always a little stiff when they're new. over time and some heat, they will mold perfectly along the floor.

qbmurderer13 05-15-2009 12:26 PM

Those look slippery as hell. I don't know why all weather mats are so popular here, I hate em. Although I understand why you would prefer them over carpet mats if you see lots of crappy weather and snow.

mole177 05-15-2009 12:36 PM

they look huh... too pre-judgemental dude. they offer more grip than carpet. easier to clean and looks nice.

qbmurderer13 05-15-2009 12:40 PM

Well the all season mats I tried out in my friends car were horrible, my foot kept sliding. And personally I think they look horrible. I just think that kinda stuff belongs on trucks or if you live up north. But hey that's just my opinion and I'm sure 90% of people on here will disagree.

I might have to get some of those before next winter hits. The slop we get everywhere here from November through March will turn a set of carpet mats into nasty crusty salt sludgesickles in no time.

Uncle Gary 05-15-2009 08:45 PM

I'm thinking about getting some to run during the winter months. I'll keep the carpeted mats for summer. Where would I find a set of these?

Fat Ping Cat 05-15-2009 10:02 PM

i switch between all season and carpet depending on the weather.. i don't let the carpet ones ever get wet. i like to drive barefoot when there is warm weather too.

cheap universal cut to fit mats are all you need for winter though. mine aren't slippery either.

if the weather was nice all of the time i would definitely always use carpet

I got OEM All season because I have a 7 month old. And he likes to throw things he's eating.

hoss10 05-16-2009 09:37 AM

I like the look of those mats better then the OEM's. My mats OEM don't have the high sides and the dirt will slide off the mat.

dman 05-16-2009 01:16 PM

Looks great! Did you get any rear floor mats from Weathertech?

nice they look like they'll hold a 20 oz. if spilled.

mole177 05-16-2009 08:51 PM

no rear fitment avail yet.

bigmitch 05-16-2009 10:24 PM

I've had a set of weather tech's in for about 2 weeks now and like you the fit was a little off but seems to be fitting better now as time goes on. I think the weather tech's are the best all weather mats out there. I have them in all my vehicles and the carpet beneath them looks as good as the day they left the showroom and have never slipped on any of them. Hoping they come out with the rear set soon.

Fat Ping Cat 05-16-2009 10:28 PM

nuts! $99 for two floor mats?:(

mole177 05-17-2009 12:27 PM

you pay for what you get dude...

Granted they are pricey but as Mole said you get what you pay for. They will be the last set of floor mats you will ever need unless you decide down the road you want something else. They just don't wear out. Look at the price of the OEM all weather mats and compare the quality.

mole177 05-17-2009 07:48 PM

i think im going to try toboggoning in them when snow season comes back
