Fit's Doors!

I don't know if anyone had commented on just how great the size and shape of the Fit's door are. I'm 6'4" and a big guy. Not only are the front doors very easy to get out of (their square shape just works) they don't open too far out in a tight parking lot. On many 4 door cars when I put the seat back far enough, I am behind the door frame, and I can't put my arm on the window with the window open, and it's hard to get out.
Amazing for such a small car.

Yep, the door size and design is great. I really like how the doors in the back open straight out as well if needed. What I don't personally like is door handle on the exterior. I don't know if I am used to all my old cars or what...but they are a bit large, make a loud racket if it slips out of your hand (makes noise without slipping, too), and if you pull on them at a bit of an angle they don't function as smooth. Being really nit picky here though!

I think I might like something like this better: (2009 Malibu handle..) Of course this would probably change the overall look of the car quite a bit, and add to the cost.

Oh yeah, sure does - see below. Either way I think this design would be easier to use.
