Hope it will help light the way home! ;) :vtec:

Wow fit freak rocks!

First the recaro baby seat for another member, now a HID kit.

Great forum!

Those arent HID's. Those are xenon bulbs in a reflector housing. Crazy amounts of glare. Narrow beam pattern. Silly color. God I hate those things. Nice gesture though.

What an awesome deed! Congrats!
I miss having HID's but holy crap that's a lot of glare. I would be pissed if I was passing you on the road.

Projectors are a must for HID's.

it's the camera that gives off so much glare, it doesn't have that much glare. my phone just sucks at taking pictures lol

Beng, i had them installed as soon as i got back from the meet haha

qbmurderer13 Jul 8, 2009 08:27 PM

No its not the camera. Xenon bulbs in a reflector housing will cause tons of glare. Sorry dude.

i'm not arguing lol. when i stood in front of it, at any distance, there was no glare.

Does it look like this?

Sorry to come off harsh, nothing against you. I just cant stand these things. Makes the car look ghetto.

Rubba Burna Jul 8, 2009 08:39 PM

well maybe you can help out with the money -.-

qbmurderer13 Jul 8, 2009 08:44 PM

Some Osram night breaker halogen bulbs would be brighter than stock and a xenon bulb, and they cost less than a "HID" kit. I rather stay stock than put those things on my car.

Rubba Burna Jul 8, 2009 08:46 PM

is it 7000k or up? i doubt it

qbmurderer13 Jul 8, 2009 08:51 PM

The higher the number the less light it puts out by the way. Anything higher than 4300k will lower visibility.

i kno -.- and 3000k is best for snow/rain visibility. i know, did it ever cross your mind that i would sacrafice some visibility for looks? im a form over function guy -.-

qbmurderer13 Jul 8, 2009 08:59 PM

But it makes your car look ghetto and cheap. I usually expect to see a 88 civic with chrome rims and a 4" inch exhaust driving by when I see HID kits. Poser status.

Rubba Burna Jul 8, 2009 09:00 PM

thats great for him having a job. how ever, i just got mine, the first one. so stfu

qbmurderer13 Jul 8, 2009 09:03 PM

What are you talking about...?

Rubba Burna Jul 8, 2009 09:18 PM

he can afford HIDs, i cant, at least atm

qbmurderer13 Jul 8, 2009 09:22 PM

Stock is free. The Osram halogen bulbs cost less than the HID kit you put on your car and are brighter.

Rubba Burna Jul 8, 2009 09:24 PM

again i state:
