Thanks Steve. having those dimensions helps. Looks like I may have to wait for a TSX wagon... or consider a CRV. The harps we're considering for my daughter are about 70 x 38. Ideally, it would be better if we still had use of both front seats or one of the back seats.

That was my original '07 Fit with 6 contrabass bugles (kinda like marching tubas)...

One of the main reasons I wanted a hatchback is because of my need to haul a large horn (or 6) around without getting banged around getting it in/out of the car. My contrabass fits snugly in the back of my '09 Fit with all the seats up, or I can flip one of the rears down and haul 2-3 horns plus the people to play them.
