I have certainly THOUGHT of it (I had always planned to get an Element and do that), but I am just not sure it would work with the GE's contours.
Where can you get the vinyl for DIY? It seems like there are only kits for specific cars but there must be a way to just get the stuff in bulk. |

The only places I know of would be the stores that do car wraps, it would have to be measured and designed in a computer and they would print it for you, don't know how much it will cost but it will definetly look different. :vtec: |

MIAMIFIT,
First, are you thinking of it? Second......The best places for you to look would be signage shops, or places that do window vinyl advertising for example. Another idea would be to check out who does vinyl wraps for busses at the airport. I'm sure there are plenty of places in your area that could do the job, as it is basically the same procedure as tinting windows. Signage shops and the like would probably look at it as a "fun" kind of gig. The guy that did my Eclipse back in the day also wrapped Coca-Cola and beer trucks for most of the state. He was pretty stoked to do a car that might make some other business, so he gave me a deal. Hopefully, it could do the same for you should you do it. |
Oh, and I wouldn't think twice about rocking a Woody Element. Slam it with some whitewalls....maybe even some Dayton Wires just for squirts and laughs....yeah.

I met this guy at SoWo(yes the beer tap works)

Sweet - looks like Con-Tact paper from 1962_:) As I remember the Ford Country Squire was a vinyl woody.
