question about the power steering?
 
i was doing some work under the hood and noticed there wasnt a power steering fuid reservoir as in other older hondas....where is it? and what kinda maintainence can I do myself if it doesnt have one....

could be a noob question...thanks for the help guys (and girls :)

The power steering is electric. No reservoir...no maintenance required.

Electric PS is pretty much becoming the standard. As each brand new car design comes out, most likely it will be on there. The reasons are less weight and less parasitic hp loss. The electric system is "shut off" above a certain speed where power assist is not needed, so there is zero draw off the alternator. Hydraulic systems rob more hp as the rpm goes up no matter what. I like the idea of no potential leaks. Ive had several problems with leaking PS systems over the years (Chevy, Lincoln and BMW). Another plus is one less belt-driven accessory to deal with.
