How the heck are you going to pick these up in that?!
 

Not that I ever had any doubts about the storage space inside the FIT, but it never ceases to amaze me how under rated our cars are by people who don't own them.

While my FIT is my daily driver, along with my wifey's accord, my real driving passion is in my 1997 Cherokee XJ. It is lifted, locked, geared, armored and oh yea.. sucks down fuel at about 9 MPG! When I'm not rock climbing with it or driving it in the snow, I'm definitely not driving it around for the heck of it, especially with gas prices the way they are.

I live in NY and came upon a really nice set of jeep wheels/tires for $30! On only catch was that they were in Rhode Island, about 3.5 hours away. While I could take the jeep to pick up them up, the gas cost needed to get there and back would really eat into the deal. I decided to take the FIT and MAKE THEM FIT. lol

When I got to RI, the seller laughed and said, "how the heck are you going to get these home in that?!'. Well after wrapping up the (4) 31x10.5x15 wheels and tires weighing in at about 60 lbs each, they Fit perfectly FLAT in the back of the FIT! THE GUY WAS FLOOR, ok.. ok.. I was too.

Anyway, $16 bucks in fuel and 30 dollars for wheels? $46. The look on the guy's face as they actually fit into my car? PRICELESS.

Yeah, the Home Depot guy when we loaded up a 36" exterior door, took about 2 minutes too, bungees are a must carry item. Was sticking out the back a bit but so what.

Went to pick some gear up at a friends place, he owns an electrical goods repair center.

I fit

4 x 42" plasma tv's

2 x 20" monitors

7 x hitachi amps

and a few boxes of assorted stuff, packed to the roof and still had room for me and a passenger, he couldn't believe I did it in one trip.

Lol I have the same problem with my Jeep. Wrangler Sport with a 4" lift and 33's. 5 speed and gets about 18 mpgs on the highways and about 12 in the city. Have never had to put the tires in the fit though thank god lol. Thats really impressive.

same here when at the grocery store. Costco/SAMs Club (wholesale store) everything is some what sold in "bulk" or 3packs of everything and anything. well anyway, me and my gf stock up on what we need and on our way out we've got a full cart of boxes and cases of food. my gf waits at the entrance while i pull up in the Fit. Funny thing is that other ppl walking by or waiting stop and stare to watch us fail at loading all our groceries in the car. but to their surprise, everything fits just fine. freaking awesome!!

Loved when I had the Snisen and grocery shopping, the bagger would look at me like I was insane. Yet every single time grocery's fit without issue, sure the whole trunk was filled, but the point was they fit. The Fit on the other, clowns would have a field day with it.

Haul an upright bass, bass stand, music stand, amplifier and stool in mine with plenty of room left over for a couple of suitcases if I am traveling.
I was able to haul the bass in my wifes E class but that required a lengthy round of bass Tetris, and not so good on the leather. I was able to haul the bass in my pickup too, except when it rained, so the pickup is gone and has been replaced by the Fit, which turns out to be the perfect hard case (with wheels) for the bass.

And a partridge in a pear tree!

Yep I mountain bike And can easily fit 2 bikes helmets and backpacks in back and me and my buddy up front. Love it
