2010 Sport w/ Cargo Net - Did they change the hookup's?
Before I bought my Fit I read a lot about accessories and one of the few things I picked was the cargo net. When the dealer installed it they have it flat to the floor but to me it makes more sense to have it vertical to divide the trunk.
Looking today it seems there isn't hookups to get it to do this?? Anyone else notice this, why would they change it? |
The cargo net is to place over items placed in the cargo area to keep them from shifting left/right or front/back. I've not seen an application of top/bottom fastenings on any vehicle. I believe the use of that kind of attachment would be very limited.

I got the cargo organizer instead and that helps divide the space as well as organize. You can collapse it when empty. The net did not seem very practical to me.
Can you return it? http://www.collegehillshonda.com/sto...oorganizer.jpg |

Can you return it? Yeah I might be able to, i've only had the car 2 weeks. |
it collapses completely flat, but most of the time I have one of the sections filled with stuff like hiking boots, blanket, etc. Order it online & you can get it cheaper than the dealer--or see if they will match an online price. I paid a tad under $50 for it from Bernardi parts

If the GE's set up is anything like the GD's the net hook to the 4 loops in the hatch. It won't be snug since its designed to go over the items and keep them from moving around like previously stated.

Thats a typical american grocery trip. You have the health kick of banannas, apples, orange juice, bottled water and vitamin water...as well as a few Monster Energy Drinks in the mix which completely balance out. :rotfl: |
I know. :) I happened to notice them underneath the Full Throttle box. ;)
