YouTube - BMW getting moved by construction crew

like the guy in the video said, that is f-ing hilarious!

But if you read the video description, they had to do it to the Fit too, unless the owner got lucky and came out to move it before the forklift did.

Since the BMW was moved to a location on the same side of the street as the Fit, it seems that only side of the street where the BMW was parked was being affected by construction.

Did you read the description? It said they moved the BMW AGAIN and paved both sides of the road.

I am curious what will happen if the vehicle to be moved has tilt sensor alarm. It will sound the whole time and the noise will drive nearby folks crazy. How would the authorities or towing company disable the alarm? Is tilt sensor alarm legal then?

I am thinking of installing tilt sensor alarm on my FIT to guard against wheel thieves as discussed in this forum. Do not want my FIT to be sitting on 4 bricks one day.

that reminds me of a scene... I think it was with "the Governator"... the alarm went off and he lifted the car until it went off, the reason being, when the tilt sensor hits a steep enough angle, it thinks its being towed (repo or too many tickets, etc), which deactivates the alarm.

I remember now, it was the movie "Twins" with Arnold and Danny Devito.

i guess, doing a quick google, tilt sensors are now being used AGAINST thieves with tow trucks.

Yes I read the description but only this much:

"This is what happens when you park on the street when you received notice to..."

I was laughing too much to think and expand to the entire description.
