Rotate tires and TPMS
Hi Guys,
I'm a new 2010 Fit owner and new to the forum. I have gotten great info on here. I was searching for info on the tires and tpms. I was going to rotate them myself but I've gotten conflicting information about the tpms. If I rotate the tires that shouldn't affect the tpms sensors right? Do they need to be matched with the side they are on? Also I am thinking these Dunlop's are bi-directional so I would need to switch the fronts with the backs diagonally with the opposite side? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! I tried searching the forum but I'm either too dumb or there hasn't been a thread on this in a while. Thanks! |
nope...just as long as you have sensors within range.
when i had the stock tires, i rotated them front to rear and rear to front same side. as if they were unidirectional. |

Some manufacturers' TPMS systems will tell you which tire is low, and how low (GM), those are the systems that need re-learned.
Hondas only need a reset on models that have a different front tire pressure recommendation than the rear tires. |
