Any other cheapskates having this problem?

I have Nokya Artic White headlights in my car right now because I don't want to pay for retrofit headlights and HID's. I've tried several other bulbs in the past too.

The problem I keep having is that any slightly tinted blue headlight reflects all over the inside of the headlight so the output is whiteish but the headlight looks RICER BLUE!

Has anyone else had this problem or found any truly white bulbs that don't reflect blue all over the inside of the headlight?

i'm using Sylvania Silverstar Ultras right now, and it doesn't have that "ricer blue" as you state. Its an awsome bulb i guess, and i gets the job done. I do plan on retrofitting though. as soon as i aquire Q45 projectors.

Pre-retro I have used these without exhibiting the ricer blue color and the bulbs are quality.

I used to have the Philips Xtreme Power until they burned out. Those were bright, white, and didn't have the blue tint.

Now I'm running the Osram Nightbreaker Plus... and it's still bright and white, but the bulb has a ring of blue tint. You can't see it on the low beams, but with the high beams, there's a blue tint to the light :(.

I've used Philips Extreme Power before, and am currently using Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's. Saving up for Retrofit.
