Thought I'd introduce myself.

NAme's Harald, and I work on older Volvos for fun.

Bought a Fit Sport manual in blue with my wife after I decided to get rid of my 244 this summer. So far no plans for mods as it's under warranty for the next 7 years, or when I decide I'm tired with little things like the stock headlight alignment, the wheel alignment, and the few other little niggles that once figured out should turn this thing into a decent little commuter.

Pics later if you want..it's stock except for the odd scratches it already has :rolleyes: I live in the city and there are tons of bad drivers, cyclists, and a notorious lack of off-street parking. Cheers!

For sure! I do have to say that I wish I were braver about modding this car. Don't think I'll be doing much besides tint, a *very* slight drop, and a set of BBSs from a Mini if I can come by a set. Warranty's a bitch!

So anyone doing anything crazy to the GEs yet? K20/4 swaps?
Turbos?
Any options for limited slip diffs? (I hate it that it dribbles the ****ing right wheel like a basketball. Poor axles! Certainly miss getting sideways every time that the car breaks traction :-P )
Camshaft and ECU tuning options for the L15A?
Do the gearboxes like to explode much?

Judging by the mods on the volvo and the type of questions your interested in I don't think it will take you very long to say "The hell with this warranty, I'm moddin' this thing because I can't stand it any longer"...:rotfl:
