Panic button doesn't work?
 

I have a 2012 sport, I pressed the panic button for the first time and it doesn't work. I have the optional oem alarm installed by the dealer. My question is, does this button even work for anyone?

You have to hold it down. I believe for more than 2 seconds. Try that.

What optional oem alarm?

Optional OEM alarm? Do you mean the OEM alarm that all Sport models have?

Just hold the panic button down for some seconds and it should work. The instructions are probably in your manual.

i think the only time I have ever hit the panic button was by mistake.

you also have to turn the cruise control on before you can set it, it tells you that in the owners manual as well :rotfl: lol ok im done. this thread can die now.
