new fit question!!

Okay, so i have had my new Honda Fit Sport for approx. 2 weeks now. I can;t help but notice that almost every time i turn it off i hear a dripping/ glurping noise in the engine. It only makes it 1-3 times n then the car is silent. Is this normal? is it the oil hitting the pan? it's freaking me out :/
THANK YOU :)

It's probably the gas under your ass- literally. It's more pronounced when the tank is fuller. The gas will slosh around a little in the tank and you hear it when you come to a stop and turn off the car. Normal, albeit a bit gasy.

;)

Shockwave is right. I've noticed the gas in the tank making that sound also.

Yep, most cars the fuel tank is under/behind the rear seats, so you will never hear it. In these it is right under the front seats, so you can hear it sloshing.

Thank you very mucho :)
Now i'm not freaking out anymore!
My fit is replacing my old Civic which had a problem every month and contstantly had me waiting for a tow truck on the side of the road, soooo
I am kind of traumatized with car problems... i'm like a car hypochondriac. :hyper:
GRACIAS!!

Heh, my fit replaced a 97 Civic (that was not well cared for by the previous owner) and the civic replaces a 99 Outback. I was so use to having to do something every two weeks or so that I actually find a project to do on the fit every couple of weeks, just because it is weird not to be doing something to the car.
