Launch Control?!
 
Anyone notice with the MT fit that if you rev the engine in neutral sitting still it cuts out aroud 4.5-5k? what is that some sort of launch control?

Launch control is not the same as a rev limiter.

No it's not some sort of launch control... It's keeping the car from over revving with out load. And it's keeping you from getting into the VTEC cam profile.

Almost all hondas I've been in recently do this..

oh sweet baby jesus.
That's a rev limiter, not launch control. I don't see why launch control would ever be necessary in a 100 horsepower, front wheel drive econobox.

Every fit comes standard with launch control: it's called 117 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque.
