I cannot post attachments.

This information is listed in the posting rules copied below. Note that it reads "You may not post attachments" . I have tried to attach some photos with no success. Yesterday I sent an email to the Webmaster, so
far no response.

I'm an old fart and not a computer guru but I do belong to some other forums manage to load photos on them.

Anyone have an answer on why I'm not allowed to post attachments?

Thanks, Clifton

I see my avator showed up in my original post. I kept getting a "download failed" note and assumed it
wouldn't show up.

It's probably an attempt to cut down on the spam/clutter. If everyone was allowed to post attachments, the server would get it's hard drives loaded with tons of stuff.

Go to usercp, and you should see photos and albums. You should be able to upload pics there and then link to them in your posts (when you view an image there, it'll give two links, one is for forums).

Or you can link to photos on another site (image host or forum you happen to have picture uploaded to).

Hey flash75 its really easy to post pics. first you need to host the picture like you have on Flickr. then get the URL for the photo you want to post. then you can either click the little button with the mountian and moon/sun (Insert Image) and then copy past the pictures URL in the box qnd hit [ OK ] the other way is to add [IMG] [/IMG] to the beginning and end of the pictures URL.

Hopefuly that makes sense.
