What's up with my Fit?
 

I know I only have 117 hp and our Fits aren't the fastest things on the road, but damn if you aren't careful you are speeding! Why does it have to be so smooth?! LOL.

My family and I are vacationing on Cape Cod and I'm usually going at least 15 mph over the speed limit without intending to. My wife says the same thing when she takes the Fit. She says it's "so cute and zippy!" :rotfl:

Its the pedal!!! Its so sensitive it turns normal feet into lead!

I've noticed this as well! I thought it was because I was used to my civic's digital speedometer and feel I have a hard time keeping an analogue speedometer steady. But I think it's really the pedal.

Do the pedal mod then. Even then there is that tendency to speed. Cops take one look and say Gramps is out with grandson's ricer and ignore me.
