Support for iPod Nano 6th or 7th Generation in '09 Fit Sport

Good day, all.

Are there any 6th or 7th generation iPod Nano users who are connecting these iPods to the USB connection in the '09 Sport without the navigation system? I would like to purchase one of newer iPod Nanos, but I not sure if the system in the '09 Fit Sport can access the data on these newer Nano models. I do not have a way to test one of these models with the car before making my purchase.

Thank you for your help.

Are there any 7th generation Nano/'09 Sport users out there?

Codger, thanks for the helpful reply. It is good to know that the 6th generation works properly in the '09 Sport.
