A weird electrical problem - please read

Two weeks ago I install Laser puddle lights in the doors and connected to my foot well lights to operate with dome light circuit. A couple days later an impart sensor behind the bumper failed and gave an SRS warning light. Before I got it in for this repair I had a dead battery. I charged it and the next day a lot of the warning lights you see when first turn key started flashing. It would be one at a time for two or three flashes then move on to another one.

WHen I had it in for the SRS repair there were no other codes showing when they scanned.

I have disconnected the new lights and charged battery 3 days ago. This morning I still had flashing lights but it did start. Speaking with Service Tech he said it might be the Throttle Controller that is plugged in to the data port and suggested we do this this afternoon when I am there..

Thoughts anyone?

I'd make sure the battery is in good working order. If it's providing too low voltage maybe that's affecting things.

Then I'd reboot (disconnect for what, 10 minutes?)

Then I'd start backing out mods in the order they were put in to try to isolate the one that's causing the problem. Unless of course it's the micro-controller for the instrument display. :ohnoes:

Well I feel stupid. The light on dash I am looking at is the security one. I had never seen it before. When you are old and wearing bi-focals and peering through the side window through dark tint it appears to change to different light when all it is is the light changing flashing speeds. Anyhow when at Honda and they explain this we are going to leave it for a week with new lights unplugged and see what happens. If persists with disconnect other mods.
THe battery is fine.

The OBDII port is hot all the time. That's how the ETCs get power to retain settings. It could be the drain is more than ideal.
