2013 Honda Fit Sport rear door doesn't open from inside

Hey everybody,
I bought a silver 2013 Honda Fit sport in May. I like the car, it was to replace my dying 2000 Honda Civic coupe. I immediately got tinted windows.

Just the other day, I actually had 4 people in my car and the driver side rear door does not open from the inside. Since it's not that critical right now I was just going to get it fixed when I'm due for an oil change (currently at 80%).

My question is, do you think the guys who did my window tinting may have messed up the door? Or was it just coincidence. I figured it should be covered by the Honda warranty either way.
Thanks.

Sounds like the child lock is on. Open the door and on the back edge you will find a little switch, unlock it. Done.

What I was going to say...

Ahh, didnt know where the Child Lock was or if it even had it. I thought it would have been on the driver side next to the windows lock and stuff. This is actually my first four door car. Thanks, I'll check to confirm when I get back to my car but I'm sure you guys are right.

Happened to me once, too, with my previous car.. Was cleaning the car, wiping down the inside of the door & hit the switch by accident.

Guaranteed its the child door lock switch. I think they're actually regulated to be standard on all 4 dr vehicles.

And have been since, like, chariot racing was a thing.

Yeah, it was the child lock.

Thought it was a strange place to put such a switch, but I guess it makes sense.

That's where they are in every 4 dr
