recommendation suspension 2012 Fit
I am picking up my car tomorrow & first thing I want to do is lower it. I'm a daily driver, not a street racer. Handles when I need it & lowered like 1-2 inches. Your help is appreciated.

Swift springs
|
Thanks!! That will work w/ stock shocks & struts?
|
Yes but you may need to cut the rubber damper.

you mean the bump stops? i didn't cut them.
swifts is definitely a nice upgrade for the '12. the stock springs makes the car feel like a minivan or something. terrible... |
Thanks guys!! Swift Spring it is.. How about progress rear sway bars? Or leave it alone?
|
Swift springs are the best quality spring you can get.
If you go coilovers, I like my Tein Street Basis. |
If it's a base model, definitely get the progress RSB. If sport model, see how it feels, if it leans too much, get it.
If you need grip, 205 width tires are the way to go, but try just running high performance summer tires in the stock size first. |
Agreed, but if you're now super low I'd go 205 + summer tires
|
I like my Tanabe DF210's, handle well and provide a firm but comfortable feel
