Video Please help! Shifter is broken, won't shift into anything.

Someone please help, I use this car everyday to drive to work.. thinking it would be reliable... The car has 77k miles on it and its a 2010, so I am out of warranty sadly. The shifter just moves up and down freely without the clutch engage, inside the engine bay everything is moving fine! but nothing is engaging, idk what the problem is, I am guessing its related to the shifter more so then the transmission because of how loose the shifter actually is.

Your linkage probably broke. Either at the shifter or on the trans.

Two shifter cables are right there at the front of the shifter housing. Is one of them not moving?

Ok so this is the complete run down of what was happening:

Out of no where the shifter started feeling loose... still drivable, but felt like the clutch was slipping a little bit.. which is weird because it has always felt brand new from day 1 up until this point.

The next day i drove the car it was still having the same issues, but when i drove it home from work it was unable to shift into any gear but 2nd gear, and 4th gear, and the shifter itself went completely loose! like as if the linkages was bad.

The next day i crank it back up, i shift it into reverse and back it up and when i flipped it in neutral.. it was the last time the car was able to shift gears, and the stick went COMPLETELY loose. Clutch pedal still feels fine i think... i THINK fluids look good.. the slave cylinder still has movement... what is odd is that the linkages appear to be fine, no pins or anything, and moving left to right and up and down with the stick still moves it freely.. BUT it is too freely at the transmission end, as if there is nothing connected inside the transmission to hold it.
