Honda Fit 2008 paddle shifters and cruise don't work
Hi,
On the dashboard it doesn't show even the numbers.. Cruise green light is on but simply doesn't work. I couldn't locate the fuse for those.. some fuses in the manual have only letter without actually explaining what they are for.. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! |

The paddles are linked directly to the PCM and pass through the clockspring. The cruise....you say the main switch will turn on one of the lights and it does stay on? But the other switches won't activate the cruise? How about checking brake switch inputs and clutch switch inputs (if equipped)? Got check engine light on? Fault codes? |
Ok thanks. I will have to check on that clockspring..

Yeah but I would do some checking with an ohm meter before just replacing it.
BTW there are several names for the same part, Honda usually calls it a cable reel and other manufacturers call it other names. What about the airbag? Got fault codes related to the drivers inflators that could be attributed to the clockspring? (If bag is completely missing or disconnected, this may be a moot point) |
