Failed emission and problem with obd2 reader.

Hi
I have a honda fit sport 2008,
On Tuesday I failed the dc dmv emission for evap and catalytic not ready.
Since then I have tried 2 differrent bluetooth android obd2 reader with torque pro and other app I I cannot connect to the ecu with the right protocol
I have some screenshot here of the protocals handshake fails:

After refueling and driving 150 miles+ (city and highway) I check this Emissions Testing :: Information :: Honda Fit 2007-2016 Owners Manual :: Second generation (2007-2016) - HoFit.org this morning and I still have the cel light blinking 5 times and disappearing.

Any advice on what I should do ofr obd2 connection and get the test ready?

Thank you.

Disconnect battery and turn on key for 30 seconds or so.. then turn key off and reconnect battery.. Sometimes in the attempt to connect it seems to tick off the ECU component that does the buss communications.. (On my 07 I had to pull the bluetooth reader off a couple times when it just got pissy for no reason.. )

If you disconnect the battery you will set all of the readiness indicators and you will have to go through a lot of driving before all of the readiness go to their normal state. Right now you only have one (catalytic) to worry about. If you disconnect the battery you will have all of them to worry about. Some of them reset easily and some will take a lot longer to clear.

I did a stupid thing after cleaning the battery posts: I also removed evap purge hose to check the evap valve (for leaks) during this time (key off battery connected, the fuel vapor pressure gage recorded abnormal situation and this prevented monitor to be ready in 4 weeks. I repeated re-set with Innova scanner and all monitors were ready in one week
