So just to make sure we're on the same page here's literally everything I did...
1)disconnected negative terminal
2)disconnected 2009 seat and removed 2009 seat
3)connected 2012 seats and bolted up 2013 seat
4)connected negative terminal

I can tell you this, along with my 2010 Fit, I have an 05 Acura TL with my airbag light on. I had the code scanned and it comes up with 61-10 Permanent DTC Open in the drivers seat belt buckle switch. There's a sensor in the actual buckle that went bad on my Acura which will trigger off the airbag light. Apparently it is still covered under Acura's warranty because it's part of the restraint system, although I haven't had the time to bring it in to be fixed, or had the time to have my drivers side airbag replaced on my Fit. Not sure if that's what's causing your airbag light to come on, but it may be.

I can't speak for the Fit, but with my old 2001 Kia Rio I had to unplug a wire under the dash to install something and I got a continuous air bag light (until the light burned out). I plugged it back in right away, but it didn't care.
The airbags obviously need some type of computer reset I couldn't do. On the bright side the airbags deployed properly when the car was totaled in a crash a year or so later.

Air bag light on after seat swop
Just checking you managed to get your SRS light resolved. I changed seats between a 2009 and 2012 model and have the same issue.
It would be appreciated if you can shed some advice on what you ha e done to resolve.

Ismail
