Had these on for about a week. Bought them from Tire Rack. SSR Type C 16x6.5 +44 with 205/50 Goodyear GS-D3 (closeout special). They weigh 31.8 lbs, so that is over 4 lbs saving per corner. They fit perfect, no rubbing issues.







Rears fit just inside the fender edge:


Fronts stick out maybe a few millimetres, and that is just the tire, not the wheel:

 

those are actually pretty nice! I think they'd look pretty sweet on my TW sport too....how much did you pay ?

 

The wheels were about $300 each. Tires were $50 each.

Not bad... the rim configuration/lip make them look like 14s, though.

Would definitely look better if it is lowered, but I need to maintain a certain clearance for the front end due to a steep lip at the edge of my driveway. Also, I want to maintain some ride comfort. Been looking at the Tanabe NF210, since those have the mildest drop and they claim that the ride comfort isn't too bad. We'll see.

Wanted to keep 16" wheels for their light weight. Haven't seen many 17" wheels that I like that are reasonably light.

 

Very sweet, you probably saw my pics from today with the same tires on the stock 6" wheels. Your 6.5"s are the perfect width. The 44 mm offset is interesting with the 6.5" rims, it looks like your tires are out a bit more than mine with the stock 50 mm offset and 6" width. I'll try to take a similar pic to yours and post it for comparison.

 

new wheels look good! now all you need is to drop your car and to wash it :P

 

I think the 09 fits need a 17" but those wheels are nice!

 

what are you guys doing about the tire pressure sensors? Do you reinstall the factory ones on your aftermarket wheels or do get new ones along with the rims?

 

We don't get TPMS here in Canada. Better in my opinion. Love those wheels, let me know how those springs work out for you if you get them!

 

I disagree, 17"s and up look silly because you have to run rubber band 205/40 tires to get them to fit on a lowered Fit.

Give me 16"s and some meaty rubber any day over rubber band tires.

 

Here's a similar view of the front tire clearance to the bumper on my car, same tires as in the pics at the top of the thread (Goodyear F1 GS-D3 205/50-16), but mounted on the stock 16x6 Sport alloy wheels.



They don't really stick out at all on my car, with the stock wheels, which are +50 offset. Add in 1/2 of the extra 0.5" of rim width, and yours should stick out 6 + 6.35 = 12.35 mm (about 1/2") more than mine.

Looks like I'm ready for Paris-Dakar with that clearance! But I probably won't lower it, just don't want the potential hassle of clearance issues, and the harsher ride. I've already got one lowered car that rides like a truck.

 

Odd, your wheels look a bit bigger than mine. I think the rim of the stock wheel is a bit thicker than these SSRs, which makes them look a bit smaller.

I'll have to take a closer look at the stock wheels.
