That thing looks like a Prius with a new front end.
What happened to the more aggressive looking front end they had before? That thing looks bad now... and bad as in bad, not bad as in good.

All the hybrids are going to look like this for quite a while. It is a design that works very well with aerodynamics.

When you really think about it the Prius looks just like a bigger 1st gen insight.

Remember the new Insight will be ~ a 25K car. I can't see it as a standard feature on the fit. Maybe as an accessory.
It will cost Honda too much IMO for a standard feature.

I think the new insight also has the same steering wheel as the Fit. I swear I saw that on an insight interior pic last week.

According to an article I read yesterday in a car magazine, the Insight uses the front sub structure that the '09 Fit uses.
At the end of the article it said something along the lines of the author preferring the cost, space, fun, and zip of the Fit over the Insight.
Wish I could remember which magazine. Thought it was Automobile. Maybe Road&Track.

I was in a waiting room awaiting my turn for the torture... uh, dental cleaning I needed. So I rushed through it.

so the Fit's still tops.

Pricing will start at 18.5k and top out at around 22k....

They share a steering wheel and a few other dash fittings. The overall dash design is very similar to the Fit.

I agree the Fit edges out the Insight in several areas. However, if the pricing is right (18k) the Insight will be an excellent value. I have read that it seems to deliver a fairly engaging drive (for a hybrid), and the fuel economy estimates are awesome 40/43. For those looking for a smoother, quieter ride, and if fuel economy is more important than versatility, the Insight would be a great choice.

The Insight does use the front structure from the Fit

The passenger compartment and the rear structure are newly designed for the Insight. The front structure and the suspension are carried over from the Honda Fit. Like the Fit, the Insight has drum brakes in back to cut costs.

I really want to put Insight mirrors on my Fit.

Looks like the Mirror LED Assy is the same part # as the JDM part # so that will work...
But the mirror covers are not the same... but I have to check the Mirror assy part# if that is similar then these "should" work....

they even come heated.

but they look like they might not work.
parts #'s are different.

might have to get the whole set-up in order for it to work.
and the whole set up is $$$
