(I believe the pic is from a GD, there were a few threads with the Katzkins installed on a USDM GE8, but the only threads I found the pic links were not working) If anyone has any pics of Katzkin's on the USDM GE8 please post so I can update the thread.

PRO's
They look really good (fitment, etc)
Covers up the dirt/lint magnet material on the stock seats.
100% leather or suede depending on your preference
Lot's of custom leather options (perforated, Tuscany, Baracuda and other styles)
You can customize for two tone seats.
You can customize piping, contrast stitching, etc...
DIY shouldn't be that hard to do from reading previous posters comments.
Optional Gel inserts
Optional Heating

CON's

Cost is $749 to almost $2000 depending on options
Might have to get them installed by a pro

Feel free to add/correct any pro/con's, I'm sure there are many more I cant think of.

From that pic, it looks like the Katzkin doesn't fit as well.

Katzkin is not a seat cover. it's a complete seat over-haul, which involves removing the stock fabric and possibly reshaping the seat foam to fit the new contours of the new leather. I myself, have order the clazzio. My order should be coming in soon....hopefully.

Do either of these interfere with the side airbags? For me that would be a dealbreaker.

They both suppose to work with the side air bags.

Pictures of the Clazzio show the full install (multiple views).

The picture of the Katzkin only shows one seat and it's a first gen seat at that.

I think that difference skews the voting so I won't vote.

There was a few threads with the Katzkin's installed but the pics in those threads are no longer working

I've also read that the Katzkin's were installed by a member, and they said "it can be done if you have the right tools", so I'm unsure if they are just covers or if the OEM seat upholstery has to be taken off before they are installed...

If anyone can verify more pro's or con's please let us know and I will update this thread... as I do want as close to an unbiased poll as possible..

Definitely post pics... I think the above posted Katzkin's are not properly installed. The wrinkles on the seat bottom itself however could be from wear and tear. I went with the Clazzio's and the seat bottom does have very minor wrinkling, but nothing like the above pics.

For the newer members, there were quite a few Katzkin seat pics on this forum, several different threads from different people. Unfortunately the pics in those old threads are dead links now. From what I've seen the Katzkin installs on those Fit's were top notch.

I went with the Clazzio's b/c of the price (about 1/3 of the Katzkin w/options I wanted). So far I've had them installed for about 2 months, they look and feel great. Only time will tell how they hold up, and depending on how well they hold up I might end up getting the Katzkins in the future. I really want the heated, and cooled 100% leather seats.

My Clazzio's really changed the look and feel of the interior, I'm so glad I bought them. I've been meaning to post pics, but I've been too busy, I definitely will asap.

This is not true on the 09 Fits, maybe even the 08's. Honda started to glue the factory fabric on so the new leather is a Cover. I found out the hard way. I pick mine up in the morning. They charge 100 extra because it is more of a pain to "cut" the factory fabric in the correct spots so the covers fit good. I was told if he strips the factory cloth, the factory foam will be destroyed on the 09.

Yikes! Well I am driving my Fit while I wait for the leather kit to come in to the local leather specialist. They have been doing it for some time, so I have faith they won't screw it up. Classic Trim Custom Leather Shop in McAllen, TX

Clazzio Seat covers look more professional, but I still think Mugen seat covers look and feel good. Take these pics to your shop and maybe they can copy this style.

I've been thinking about doing the seats, but what I wonder is how will it hold up over time. It's a lot of bucks wasted if in two years or so the things get wrinkly and stretch, or have to be constantly futzed with. They look great when first installed, but how about some pics with them in there for a few years? Maybe the product is too new for that. I'm not a fatty, but my ass can wear a drivers seat down over time. It's a question of wear- how good, how bad. That's how I judge this type of investment. That's how I judge a car, hence why I have the Fit!

I see the Clazzio thread has a suede option now with red stitching, Think I might would like those, getting sick of the horrible factory material.

Looks like the guy has stopped responding to the thread though and people have outstanding orders, anyone know whats up with that?
