It's okay for a male to drive a Taffeta White Fit, right? I've had trouble with this ever since my wife described it as "cute."

edit: Just realized this should probably go in the "General Fit Talk" section. My apologies.

As long as it's not a "Blue Prius" you are good, some may not get the joke, its from Jeff Dunham stand up hehe. Anyway I do not find Fit's feminine, maybe it's just me but they look very aggressive, of course lowering springs/tint/and a few other choice additions can make all the difference. While the cars appeal to many different age groups from Teens to Grandparents they are IMO not a "chick car".

Hmmm - what else does your wife consider "cute". There-in might lie your answer.

I think the only "girl" color really out there is pink.

Girls think every car is cute. My wife saw a corvette zr1 the other day...she said it was cute. We all know zr1's aren't cute they are beast. I wouldn't get too hung up on your girls choice of words.

my wife thinks the fit is a "boy's car", remarking about the styling rather than the color.

To me, white doesn't look intentional. It looks "lowest common denominator" or least-offensive. It's what couriers and other business buy.

I think the Fit is cute, but not in such a way to give it a gender preference. Like has been said, it looks aggressive. I like that, especially the interior. (GE)

hey hey now....i drive a white one

anyways, i don't see how a guy in any new, white honda would look gay (maybe except for the insight?). besides, i see tons of ppl out there with an ok car, but hella gay colored rims and stuff....like pink, bright green, purple, pink, etc. and the first thing that comes to mind is not how gay or cute it is, but how does the color look with the car, whether it is the rims, or the color of the whole vehicle. white is such a normal and common color, you can't really argue if it is gay/cute or not lol.

When I got my Fit, my wife described her as a "gay" car.

So I got rid of her... the wife that is.

Guys who drive RSX's are the ones who should question whether they have a dick or a vagina.

who has to prove what?

My buddy Al and I were walking down a street one day, and we passed a parked pickup truck, four door cab, raised about a foot in the air, monster tires, chrome brush bar, big driving lights, etc., etc. You probably get the picture. Anyway, Al's quote was, "How small does your _ _ _ _ have to be to drive something like THAT?" Us Fitguys have no reason to 'compensate'!!!

White is Honda's F1 racing color. It is also the only color porsche sells of its 911 Gt3 RSR (racing teams add vinyls afterwards). White also makes the fit look slightly larger, as opposed to black which is a slimming color. I'm surprised no one brought up purple as the gay color. Anyway white was first choice for Fit, went with silver because of availability of tranny and trim.

If you live in a hot climate like Arizona you'll see a lot of people driving cute (white) cars.

Personally, my favorite color combination is white car, saddle tan leather interior.
