Aries Floor Liners/Mats

I just received the Aries 3D Floor Liners for my 2013 Fit Base. It was a close decision between the Weathertech, Husky, and Aries mats. I was concerned about coverage (some people have complained that the Weathertech rear mat doesn't go far enough under the seats), so I called Aries and they were nice enough to measure the mats for me before I purchased them. After I put them in the car, I confirmed the back seat mat goes well under the front seats and also under the magic seats - I wanted mats with this extra coverage. Also, I personally feel they are the best looking/most upscale looking of the three brands of mats.

Here's the website: Aries Automotive - ARIES 3D FLOOR LINERS.

Here's the 2 Amazon links:
Aries HD04211509 Black Front 3D Floor Liners Aries HD04211509 Black Front 3D Floor Liners

Aries HD04221509 Black Rear 3D Floor Liner Aries HD04221509 Black Rear 3D Floor Liner

When I talked to the guy at Aries, he said the best way to get them is through Amazon (fulfilled by Amazon), they will be at other places down the line as they roll them out to other stores. They seem rugged while also looking refined, I'm very happy with them (they look even better in person than in photos). My only small complaint is the logo/emblem on each of the front mats is a little raised and is attached underneath with two flat rivets (there's no logo/emblem on the backseat mat), I know the other brands have logos that are more removable.

The underside of the mats have a very good anti-skid surface (info on website). And, unlike a lot of new products I've purchased, there isn't a toxic/chemical smell to them.

I'll take pictures of the mats and post them tomorrow.

Here are the pictures (the mats/liners look better in real-life than in the photos):

Great pictures. Great review. These looks so much better and lower priced than the Weather Techs.

Are Aries good products?
Are there any gaps in the edges that Weather Techs are notorious for?
Are those the gray or black ones?

Sorry for the questions, and thanks again.

Wow, I really like how the rear covers so much of the floor area. I have weathertechs in the front, but they sure tend to get dirty fast and do not clean up nicely. I kept my Oem Honda all weathers for the rear.
How did you find them?

Interesting, looks like the first decent competitor to Weathertech. I bet they won't be as durable, but they definitely seem to fit better and look nicer - especially in the rear. I don't use rear mats but if you have kids they would be very desirable.

Cool. The rear mat definetly covers more area than the weathertechs (which I have). That said, I hardly ever have anyone in the back.

Here are some answers to your questions, along with more pics:

I was searching for the best price for Husky liners when I stumbled upon a smaller site (I forget which one) that carried the Aries 3D liners. After that, I called the manufacturer to find out the measurements and the best place to buy them.

I only wish Aries made a cargo mat for the Fit, I ended up getting Husky for the cargo area.

I found the thread here with info from College Hills for the Accord version and watched the video
.

Also, I saw a lot of positive reviews on multiple websites for non-Fit versions of their mats.

I purchased the black ones, the texture might make them look lighter in the photos. They are a close match to the black carpet; maybe only slightly lighter than the carpet.

They seem good around the edges. I only have one slight gap on the right side of the driver's mat below the gas pedal (that may be from their original mold).

Here are some close-ups of the edges:

is the material like a fiber/composite or more like rubber? i might still order even just the front ones.

yah, the only thing missing is coverage for the center hump under the dash where your right foot might rest while cruising.

I have the own rubber mats and they suck. The passenger mat always moves and there's gaps on all the mats.

Look almost identical to my Husky Liners WeatherBeater™ Floor Liners. And my rear seat one has the same coverage. And I got both front and rear for $106.17 with free shipping at Carid.com. Plus they make one for the cargo area too. They also have a lifetime warranty against cracking and breaking.
