Cruise control turns on, can't set. 2010 fit sport
 

Hey y'all,

I recently bought a 2010 black fit sport and I cannot figure out how to get the cruise control to work. I previously had a 2007 blue fit sport, but crashed that one unfortunately. That car had the same issue. Both cars could turn on cruise control but I was never able to set it at all. I tried holding it down and nope.

I'm currently researching the main causes for this and I wanted to see what y'all thought of the likelihood of it being the led lights I have on the car. My 07 had leds too and I want to say that the previous owners did it correctly as I didn't see much Mickey mousing going on under the hood. Now my 10 looks a little silly with some wire nuts and stuff, but all the lights function and for the most part don't have any issues like fast blinkers or flickering head lights. However, the precious owner bought some of the brightest lights I've seen, don't know if that means anything tho.

im currently working on the car and have not even tested the easy stuff yet, it's just a mechanical (or electrical) inkling I'm having. Any advice is appreciated, thanks y'all.
