Relocate license plate?

Not sure if I am in the right sub-section, if not: admin, please help to move it.

I am trying to relocate my license plate from when it is now down south (below bumper). I did a research: found many brothers have done it but no DIY walk through.

Anyone can help (or point me to the right link) would be greatly appreciated?!

By the way, my FIT is GE (2009) model.

Thanks in advance. :vtec:

i think a few people are using an Autozone plate relocater. if you dont want to drill into your bumper. you could go to Home Depot and buy some L iron and shift it to the left or right using your stock mounting holes. Good luck.

A few here have done it. Forum search is your friend.

You can take off your license plate holder off and flip it upside down, then zip tie it to the line of the mouth of the bumper.

That's what I did, flipped upside down and zip tied through the stock bolt holes on the underside of the bumper. Works fine.

Zip ties? We used bolts.

Bolts obviously would be the better choice. Any idea what length/pitch/etc you used?

You can't use the bolts it came with?

I was going to try this to see how it looked for giggles but I won't bother if I have to go to the store lol

can't use the bolts it came with, you would need long shoulder bolts and obvs washer. Doing this asap
