"C" pillar trim removal

Has anyone removed the "C" pillar trim? (rear door rear outer trim).

I had to have my passenger rear door repainted and they didn't get the top tab into slot to lock it down. It looks like it just slides up but I didn't want to force it and break it if that is not how it goes.

I really didn't want to have to run back to the body shop and waste a couple of hours for what looks like a real simple fix.

TIA
Matt

If you have a GD this gives you how to do it.

If it's a GE it MAY work.

Best if opened in IE. To see the photos click on the little square boxes.

Thanks for the info. You have to pop off the interior black plastic wedge in the corner of the window to reveal the screw that holds it on. Unscrew, slide up, slide back down engaging top clip, set screw, pop interior piece back on, done.

Help me with my 2007 Fit Sort?

I am trying to remove the same piece on my 2007 Fit Sport, but there is no screw that I can see or plastic piece to pry out to find the screw. Is my car different?

You guys I need help, trying to buy or at least source the rear left back pillar post/window trim/rear door sash trim. For a 2004 Honda Fit. I think someone was attempting to steal mine and it broke off with wind pressure while I was driving. Any help will be much appreciated.. I live in the Caribbean and it is extremely hard to get. The dealers for Honda here don't even have it. Losing hope...
