Air Condition Blower Issue - 2009 Base Fit

I am having an issue whereby sometimes the a/c blower works.

As a temporary fix, I plug out the blower, plug it back and it works. The A/C blows cool. Sometimes if you turn off the A/C and turn it on, it does not blow. This does not happen all the time. You can hear the compressor kick in and condensor fan blowing but no air in the cabin so I narrow it down to the blower and its related components.

Is this an issue with the resistor? the blower itself? or both?

Possibly the switch. If the resistor pack was bad it would only blow on high (but should do this consistently).

I think it's more likely the blower motor.

Thanks for the feedback. I will have it checked out and hope it workes constantly.

I swapped out the blower and the resistor in about 15 minutes with nothing but a phillips screwdriver.

Bought the blower from Amazon.
Got the resisitor at Auto Zone for about $25.

Just did them both. No issue since then. My blower had quit working at all.

I wonder could you put a 2012 blower motor into a 2008 fit sport?

Because from my experience the 2008 blower motor is inadequate in terms of how hard the fan blows, where as the 2012 is fine.

Anyone have any info here? Anyone?
