Is there a dash kit for 2012 Honda Fit?
1 Attachment(s)
I've searched the forums and found installs that were for model year 2011 and older.
The color of the plastic dash kits are grey to match the 2011 model. The 2012 Fit has black plastics on the dash. Is there one available and if not, any suggestions? I've seen some of the plastic moldings in this forum where an applique was applied to make it look carbon fiber or another color like in this picture. Thread link is below. Attachment 26996 https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ass-setup.html Can anyone recommend a solution? Links to products will be appreciated. :wavey: |
You could order a 2012 Sport Navi dash panel if you are going with a indash screen setup
P/N - 77251-TK6-A01ZB Center Panel Assy. (Dark Gun Metallic) MSRP $61.07 |

I work at a dealership in the parts dept so if you have any questions just hit me up
This is just for the plastic piece. You would also need the mounting bracket/hardware |

Paint both the glove box and the bezel. The rustolium for plastic works great. I did mine in white to match the body color (mine started as silver being a 2011).

I am looking into this right now.
Scosche got back to me this morning, and told me to order the 09-11 dash kit. I replied back to him about the color difference, and have not heard back yet. Metra has not returned my email yet, so I will reply once I hear from them as well. |
I just used the OEM piece:

I know this question has been answered before, but I can I replace the panel in my '12 fit sport 5MT with the part above (77251-TK6-A01ZB) so I can install an aftermarket stereo? The installation above looks really cool.
My VBM '12 FS is en-route! I'm psyched! |

Just to make sure from what I read here, the 2012 navi trim is a dark gun metallic and not avail in black graphite? And the only route to match the black is paint since no other dash kit has the same black?
Thanks for the info, I have been wondering the same thing! |

Your install looks great! Thanks for the part numbers. Would you happen to have the part number for the Honda Pilot trim kit? Is it from the 2012 Pilot?

False, that's the part number for the bracket to hold the headunit to the trim piece. The Pilot trim piece is for an 03-08, Metra part number 95-7861 (according to my PayPal history).
I'll be thrilled if my install comes out anywhere as nice as yours! Thanks again for the help! |

Use the Axxis Steering Wheel Control kit (ASWC). Then it'll work just fine. I'm using a pioneer x930-bt just to clarify.
