STOCK H/U With Amp N Sub
hi there like title says is anyone running it if so what will i need thanks for all ur Opinions

I am. Its ok not great. the Fits HU modifies the bass and attenuates it past the range that it feels the stock speakers ( which you have to tap into) can handle.

try one of these. Its supposed to correct the HU attenuation and increase the voltage.
AudioControl LC2i 2-channel line output converter for adding amps to your factory system at Crutchfield.com |
would it work with my H/u its the oem nav

Yeah its super simple too. just find the wiring diagram and tap into the rear speakers as inputs for signal to the sub and there should also be a +12 and GND to power the LC2. From there you run a wire from the battery to your amp and sub and use one of the rear tiedowns for a ground. super easy

like he said it sounds ok with the factory HU. From a technical perspective it sounds like the roll off begins at 40 hz and then 30 hz falls straight down. I have used countless methods of reintroducing those subbass frequencies like selectable bass boost and amp tuning but to no avail. There is a certain song I listen to by an artist named Dwele call "Dodgin' your phone" and there is a bass note that I could hear on previous systems but in the Fit it is non existent.....even just a little bit. everything else sounds ok though
