question about using iPod with 2013 Fit Sport
Hi, I've got a problem with my Fit. Admins please move this if I chose the wrong forum; thanks!
I've had my 2013 Fit Sport since December 2013, and have been able to use my iPod Classic fine. That was until a couple of days ago, it would take the system quite a long time to recognize that anything was plugged in, then it would flash "unsupported version" across the screen. I decided the problem might be the cord I was using, so I switched it out for a newer one that was actually an Apple cord and not one I bought at a convenience store. No change. However, I can get my iPhone to work fine. Could this be a software update issue? I have not updated iTunes while my iPod was plugged in for months now, but I can't see how it's only just starting to be an issue. Has anyone else encountered this? Thanks for any advice you might have! |
Well, after a hard reset of my iPod, everything was back to normal. Looks like it was never an issue with the vehicle itself.

Glad you figured it out, my really old Ipod Nano was giving me issues with my OEM radio so I bought a brand new one and have no issues at all
It would lose its charge if the car sat for a day or 2 and I would have to go into the dash and hit the buttons on it to get it going. It got very annoying! |
Ipod's are a pain. it's hit and miss 99% of the time.
