Picked this fit up a week ago today with 38,700 miles.
My first honda and im loving it and all the fuel im saving compaired to the s10 blazer ive been driving for the last 11 years that ive constantly had to replace parts on.
This is a central IL car with hardly any rust and i plan to keep it that way. I have seen tiny surface spots in the tire wells and would like input to taking care it after it gets warm cause i plan on having this fit for the next 20 years or more.
So far ive had the windows tinted, led license plate lights, brighter headlights and i just received the window visors today but havent got them on yet.
I always do my own maintenence and work on my vehicles so im very compitent in that dept cause i cant afford mechanics rates and its something ive grown to enjoy over the years.
Ive been reading alot about maintaining these cars. Im about 39,100k now and would like any input on what should be done right away and any quality of life mods😁 looks like fresh oil and mm is 100%.
I was planning oil, trans, brake and possibly coolant drain when it gets warmer here along with rotating tires and getting a closer look for any rust to be taken care of. Any recomendations of products for a daily driver in salt central?
Should i change or replace plugs even though they dont have many miles?
I appreciate any thoughts given.
Im so happy to have joined the honda family and to be a part of this community.
I love this car and will not go back to chevy.
I went to the dealer and paid in full so i own this and its my first car that hasnt had something leaking or needed any work done on it.
I dont beat on or race my cars but have been looking at air intakes and exhausts so she breathes a little better, any thoughts on the yonaka cat back?
I was reading a post wear a intake from a cr-z was used with a good increase to air intake but the tube sits over the radiator cap and hood prop rod. Im looking into getting hood dampers or remove the prop rob and fitting a takeda momentum stage 2 intake.
Take care and praise Lord Honda!🙏😁 First drive to work Fresh tint Takeda momentum
Nice car. Keep it that way. If you start modding it, you will most likely have a lot of different issues. This is not a fast car and is not meant to be.
It's efficient, reliable and very versatile car. I'd say, keep it this way.
Love the color although I like the tidewater blue a little more, but both are so rare.
My family is still have with 2010 and 2012 both white sport manuals. Both at around 130-140K miles with no issues.
