Baylorbro's Photo Thread
***Update on page 3***
So to start off my photo thread, I'm going to start simple with a classic badge switch and then rock your world with what might be the first GE with NOS! lol Here it goes... http://i49.tinypic.com/bg4m7r.jpg Badge switch! Loving the red dot (which bigtoepfer tells me comes from the jazz 1.3L, I think) http://i48.tinypic.com/15z61pi.jpg This exoctic and rarely seen-on-a-fit system is a nitrous kit. I was very lucky when putting in this kit. The heat shield for my intake is about the only place I could easily mount the management unit. The braided lines going into the unit in the front are fuel and nitrous in, while fuel and nitrous out mix come out the back, wrap around top of the intake pipe and are tapped into the intake. http://i47.tinypic.com/2kphtt.jpg Notha angle, good shot of the spray nozzle and fuel supply to nitrous/fuel mixture. http://i46.tinypic.com/35ku793.jpg From the top http://i47.tinypic.com/1f7g9h.jpg Nice shot of the management unit mount. http://i46.tinypic.com/jv3bee.jpg Yes, those are zip ties, and yes they will be replaced with something more durable and not as "rigged". Also need to get a rubber fitting to go around the lines to keep them from vibrating at points of contact with other metal pieces. http://i48.tinypic.com/v77eqw.jpg Bottle, mounted, check. Connection line comes from spare wheel compartment, I leave the bottle disconnected while daily driving. Hope you enjoyed. Put it in with a buddy of mine, all by ourselves. I'd say total time over the span of a few days took about 8 hours. Neither of us have done an install like this before though, so I was proud of our work. Something nice to know for GE owners, YOU CAN CHANCE SPARK PLUGS WITHOUT REMOVING ANY OF THE ASSEMBLY AT THE BASE OF THE WINSHIELD. Just need to know what you are doing so you can work blind, also helps if you have long arms. I changed out my stock plugs for the Zex cold plugs, a must if running nitrous. If you have any questions about the install LMK! I expect the Fast and Furious jabs. Actually, really I'd be disappointed if they didn't come, so bring it! |
I like it!

I wonder if I would have problems with using a system like that with a super charger??? Does anyone know of someone that has done that yet?

+1 to cleaning up the lines.

|
The shop I got the bottle filled at does dyno's... anyone know how much I should be willing to pay?
Also, what should I do with the lines (other than replacing the zip ties). I'm really not sure what to do with the extra length. Any ideas? |
Nice.
How is it treating you? |
Wanted to add some photos of the "before the wheel swap". Got some Konig Helium's from Bigtoepfer that went on today.

Ok no Fast and Furious jokes from me - but I would love to see a video of the Fit running on a shot of NOS.

I will be watching out for your car when I am in Waco next month for a medical appointment.... There is a little yellow Suzuki Swift in that area that has to be boosted that left me like I was in reverse when my car was stock.... Kick his ass for me if you are ever side by side with him on 35.

Lookin' good...what are you dropped on?

I like the visors and black wheels on a silver car..... That is what I have on my GD, but my wheels are Enkei Racing RPF1s and my vent visors are fake Mugens.
