Ugh. We get screwed here in the states, you guys get all the good stuff/colors.
|
I want that color!!!
|
Wow, that is a very nice color!
|
Yes its actually a Pearlescent Color. Its looks great in the sun and really sparkles with the pearlescent flakes in the paint job.
I bought the J's style racing grill from KENKEN on here and he is color matching it for me. So hopefully when it arrives on the first week of March (chinese new year so the factory is closed currently) it will match up with the original paint on the car. I think its a harder color to paint due to the pearl. |

Standard taillights!
Only bad thing is that I have tried to get parts e.g the T1R exhaust/intake and a few other bits and pieces from the US and shipping to Australia kills any chance to getting any of those kind of parts in the for sale section on here. Consider yourselves lucky in that aspect. I am looking at the J's racing exhaust at the moment as its cheaper than to order a T1R from the states. |
Banana, anyone?
|
Can you take out the original grill on the GE6?
|
I love the color and I love the steering wheel. lol. I love yellow.
|
Should be able to take out the grill on the GE6. But you have to take of the bumper first apparently.
|
waiting on e-check to clear...then you can add last station intake to your mods.

Thanks Marc! Yes I bought Marc's Last Station intake. I think the intake & J's exhaust (still to come...eventually) will be the only power mods I will be doing. Not worth going crazy in this area IMHO. |

I hate you. :wavey: We don't get that beautiful color in the US market. I'll bet it looks even better in the flesh than in the photos. Beautiful.
|
Love that color!

Very Nice mate!

ok its been quite a while since ive been on here and updated my JAZZ build.
Had some time this afternoon and decided to FINALLY install my LAST STATION intake. Info about the intake here: Last Station Power Box Air Intake System GE Fit' Took me ages to do (2.5 hours+ id say). The worst part was trying to remove one of the original bolts that held the factory air box GRRR. Sorry for the crappy phone photos Old VS New Attachment 38307 Installed! (FINALLY) Attachment 38308 Can't say much about it yet as i haven't driven with the new intake. Going to the HONDA workshop on monday to make sure its all ok and i haven't done anything wrong. Review to come :) |

Update:
Intake impressions so far. Very nice sound and can absolutely free an increase in power, especially when your at the upper end of the rev range, lots more torque now also. Having the 45000 km service done in the next week or two and also having them install my carbon fiber steering wheel insert while its at the shop. Its not just a sticker type either, proper full replacement (pic below) Attachment 35698 Still searching around for springs (maybe Tein at this stage) and J's exhaust. Anyone have any input as to how much the Tein Springs help with cornering and the feel of the car in corners? |
I've got the Tein's. The drop is low and looks awesome. Ride is a little bouncy over rough roads due to the mismatched dampers, but definitely tolerable. I think a drop makes the Fit look much more purposeful. Handling is better (but not as great as coilovers, I'm sure) and I would definitely recommend the Progress rear sway bar or other brand rear sway bar to go along with them. Makes a huge difference!
|
Thanks for the info above. I noticed from reading some of your other posts that you got yours from assaultech.com Seems to be the way to be with the US Dollar at the moment (works out to be AUD183 for me). Have to email them soon to see if free shipping is also for international :)

That's a wild lookin' intake for sure, what would that cost in US funds, just curious?
