He really did not favor any of the two. He just gave the pros and cons of each vehicles.

He said that the Polo is equipped with aero parts to make it look sporty. It is also a limited production version with only 200 units. He tested 1/200.

He liked how the engine sounds. What he did not like was that the turbo gave it some lag giving example that when he stepped on the gas, the car didn't pull thus him down shifting the car twice from 4th to 3rd to 2nd.

Equipped with 17" wheels, where as the other (Polo) non "Cup Edition" is eqipped with 16's. The 17's gave the car better steering response at the expense of a slight harsher/bumpy ride in those rapid successions of road imperfection.

He commented on how the shift throw length is neither too long or short. It's quite exact/perfect.

The Fit RS equipped with the 1.5 liter has a very smooth sound/feel even at the upper rpm ranges. He stated that this could be the fact that it's a Honda. THe engine is not as powerful obviously because the latter has a turbo and the fit is N/A but power delivery is linear.

Transmission wise, he preffered the Polo GTI's shift feel. He stated that the Fit's shifting felt a little notchy in gear entry.

He felt that the Fit's ride is smooth and I guess you could call it lively with a very linear steering and handling through the curves.

In the end both cars are good favoring the GTI's tranny. But for way less money you can't really complain about the Fit's tranny either.

I translated the video to the best of my capacity folks. It has been 10 years since I've been to Japan and since then, I have never engaged in any Japanese convesation so all of these is based on my stock Japanese language knowledge. Hope this helps!

cool thanks. I'm sure that's 200 units limited to the japanese market, but I'd have to check that.
