my Revo Orange GE8

just found these forums a couple days ago when I was looking for suspension drop kits for my 2009GE8. Bought it in June of 2009, so it's not brand new anymore AT35 all around, door visors, all weather floor mats, and sirius xm radio installed.

Here's a quick pic, sorry for the quality, my camera phone is the only camera I have.

Looking at getting an Eibach drop kit, -1.2 and -1.4. Might paint the wheels black - I like the look of the stocks but not the color. Any suggestions on wheels?

might be trading her up soon for a new 2010/2011 depending on the deal I can get this weekend...thinking about going with Celestial Blue or Alabaster Silver if they don't have an Revo Orange manual I like this color a lot!

If I do trade up I'll be doing the tint/door visors and maybe upgrading to the 16" OEM alloy wheels

Confused here a little bit. what are the "upgrades" you'd be doing if you traded and I'm not sure how you Trade up from a fit sport (navi??) (and why would you trade for almost the exact same car?) your '09 already has the 16" oem wheels (unless you are talking HFP wheels) and an aftermarket set of wheels would definitely cost less than the hit you'd take on trading in an 09 for a 2010 or 2011. You could get a nice lightweight set of wheels to help in the performance arena.

Well, upgrading to a new year obviously! Rolling out a brand new car would be an upgrade over one that has 25k miles on it. Plus, I am looking to get the HFP wheels on it as well - which is indeed what I meant in the post you replied to. I'm not too worried about performance, this is my daily driver. I'd like to have a manual the next time around though - which to me is an upgrade from the a/t. Of course I haven't traded it yet, and would be perfectly happy keeping my car, but if I can walk out of the dealership with a 2011 for the same payment I'm making now, it would be silly to at least not consider it, right?

I'd trade for almost the exact same car again because I love the Fit...and then probably do it again after that because there just isn't another car in it's class that I like.

Ahhhhh That clarifies it. I went from a CVT back to a 5MT and couldn't be happier. 25K Miles... barely broken in though. The HFP wheels are nice but for the price, I think I'd go with something a little lighter. That said, If you can keep your current payment structure, it wouldn't be a bad thing (as long as the apr is low). ROM was my second color choice and it was a CLOSE second. sometimes I wish I picked that because it is just so different from any other color out there. Then I wash the fit and realize why white was my 1st choice.

Let us know what happens.

well the deal was fantastic that they wanted to give me and it would have been a bad decision to pass it up - 0.9% apr (much lower than my last financing) and a year less on the loan length for the same monthly payment I'm making now.

I'm officially part of the Crystal Black Pearl family now Going Monday to get door visors and tint (35 in front of B pillars, 15 around the back) Looking at ordering some Carbon Fiber Badges to put on it also. Black rims and a slight drop sometime in the next year or so hopefully, for maximum black out effect

Awesome car! I bought myself one this week too! I can't wait to get my tint done-I am going to get the legal limit-which is 35%. I am also doing the wheels and getting a sub sometime too within the next year or so.

I love this car! I am so glad that I chose it! And I am so impressed by how great the speakers sound!

And black is the coolest color.
