FittedOnEm's 09 SSM GE8

my build thread!
i used to have a 98 civic hx, but i got into an accident

i had it for a year, that's pretty much how it sat but it was lowered more after those pictures.

i got the fit on may 27th, 2011 from galpin honda. it's an 09 with 14k miles, all it had was tint and oem floor mats.

within the first three weeks: t1r s-coils, wink 5 panel mirror, debadged fit emblem, infinity 6032cs rear speakers

about a month: jdp front lip, jdp rear diffuser, jdm rear wiper mod, and led's for the license plate, dome light, and trunk lights.

starting 2012 out: go through the thread to see all progress

Forgot to include that, added in the first post.
Would you be able to PM me a couple pics of your RPF1's? I can't decide between 16s and 17s.

Nice looking fit

What is the rear wiper mod?

That is a nice stance with springs, how do they ride?

The rear wiper stays in the up position and swings down, versus it staying in the down position. Too much dirt stays on top of the wiper and leaves it streaky, plus I think it looks better.

^ Thanks!
I'm going back and forth with rebadging the back with a Jazz emblem, I picked one up while I'm in the Philippines but I'm not set 100% on it. What do you guys think? It's the one with a red dot over the J, but the dot is a seperate piece from the emblem.

For a moment there I read that the whole J was separate... was thinking, hmmm run it without the J azz

Like the civic. Wheels look like they are Integra Fat Fives. I'm running Integra Mesh wheels for my Snow tires on the FIT. Best of luck with the upgrades on the Fit.

Yup, they were. Refinished to a polished / satin finish with a Honda center cap. I always wanted to trade mine for meshies but never got anyone too, oh well. I'll miss that car a lot.

I Miss my GS-R. It was primarily stock but what a fun car to drive. 8100rpm redline... Sigh. That's what happens when you need a 4 door.

but... we're number one on the list when my wife's former Art Teacher wants to sell his 2001 Prelude it has something like 45-60K miles. I had planned on buying a 2000 preldue but instead bought my GS-R due to price. I wanted the prelude because I had an 86 Si 2.0 and that car was like being on rails, especially after upgrading to 14" integra wheels from the 13" stock wheels.

Ah I would love to get a GS-R, but they were way out of my price range when I bought the Civic. One of my friends is actually going to get a 01 Prelude, should be sick!

I know the pics are crap, but I wanted to give a little update.
-Straight pipe axle back w/ DC Sports tip (sounds amazing)
-50% tint on the front windows
-5% strip tint on the windshield
-Jazz window visors

I get my license plate frame tomorrow and the rest of the stuff I need to install my audio setup on Friday, so I'll update again once that's all installed. I'm also trying to find a set of RPF1's, but it seems to be a little hard to find a set of used 16's right now.

That sucker's loud now! You should get a sound clip. ANd did you just take it to a shop and have them weld it?

I'll try getting one up soon, it's actually perfect imo. With any other axleback I think you need to do the midpipe along with it to really hear it, where just taking the muffler off gives it just what it needs.

Yeah I did, I bought the tip from pepboys ($30) and had a local shop do the piping ($50).

Cool. The only other Fit I've heard w/ just a straight pipe had some other mods under the hood too, so I can't judge the sound of just doing a straight pipe. Like to hear yours tho.
