I love my new car!

Hey fit freak! New member here checking in. Just want to say I love this car! Great on gas and perfect for what I need it for.
She's probably going to stay stock for awhile, just enjoying the stock goodness for now.
Mods I want to do are:
-a real roof rack for my activities (Yakima or Thule)
-Mugen Window Visors
-JDP Rear Diffuser
-Greddy Spectrum Elite Exhaust

Went surfing today (sorry for the crappy iPhone pics):

Welcome to the forum, this is a great place to be! Just a little suggestion, I wrapped my stock rear diffuser in Scothbrite CF and it came out awesome (actually, had a local shop do it) This is a great way to go to get the same look for alot less, trust me. Then you've got money for other things like a K&N typhoon, it really made a difference on my old Fit

I see your in NC, check out our Fall Dragon run in the events thread, the invite is extended to you

It's in Surf City. The water wasn't cold, I had a wetsuit on.

Thanks. Yeah it's the taffeta white. It was really hard to find in this color with a 5spd MT.

Thanks bro. Yeah I was thinking about getting a Yakima or Thule, but looking at how bad it affects gas mileage I'm having second thoughts. With the soft rack I'll only be using it when I go surfing rather than having a rack on 24/7.

wouldn't be a bad idea to cover the roof in clear vinyl to protect the paint!

welcome "new" member

Just picked up my plates from the dealer, I was confused when they only gave me one plate for the rear because I'm from california and they require a plate in the front as well. I guess you're not required to have a front plate in north carolina. I also decided to go with the OEM visors because they were only $62 from the dealership.

Thanks man glad to be here. I plan to help out and learn as much as I can in this forum. I'm not here to show off and post here and there. I actually want to be active on this board.
But yes, I'm glad with my choice of getting this car. Just got my 2nd tank of gas today and I was averaging 36.8mpg on the digital odo and calculated 34.6mpg on my calculator, so I'm totally satisfied.

Installed my visors today. Totally worth it considering it's raining like crazy right now. Bummed out because it's not surf weather
