thanks all, the wheels are definitely growing on me more and more every day. I was about to purchase some falken 512s today, but unfortunately the size i needed were out of stock at discount tires.

The ride is pretty nice and firm. You can definitely feel all the bumps and imperfections on the road. They suit my needs and im fairly happy with them.

Any updates on the Diamond Lok Lip? I've been wanting to make one for my TW ge but wasnt sure it would work cuz of how stiff diamond lok is.

im 90% sure im gonna return it because i know it'll break within a week of my having it on. I had the garage sealer lip and that didn't last long after i left my mom borrow the car. I also don't have access to a heat gun although i can get one from harbor freight for 10 bucks, i don't wanna invest that much more into it.

I really want to look into the v-lip but i don't want to risk 60 dollars on something that might not work.

I bought them used off of some local guy, but they are in near perfect condition.

I mounted some 205/50/16s today and wow, the fit feels like a luxury car compared to my unbalanced 205/45/16 with bald spots. The bad news is that i rub constantly. I'm looking at running some camber up front now. I estimate that i'd have decent clearance with ~ -1.9 camber.

If anyone could guide me towards some threads with more information on ge8 camber bolts, i'd greatly appreciate it.

Here are some pictures for you guys as a reference:

falken 512s

i thought about rolling/pulling the fenders, but i have yet to see a ge8 with a subtle pull job considering the fit has such a long lip and a subtle transition from the fender to the plastic bumper would be hard to do unless done by someone skilled.

not sure how i feel about white wheels yet. Thinking about switching to some re30 reps in light gunmetal for a more subtle look.

...more to come...
What are you currently lowered on?

thanks man, i read on this other thread that this allows for 1.5-1.7 degrees. I'm going to need 4 and they are adjustable correct?

I am rubbing constantly too. I ordered a set of Eibach camber bolts and hope that will help. I was told that with the camber bolts, i could get - 1.7.

Nice, tell me how it goes man. I'm still contemplating oem camber bolts vs adjustable lobe camber bolts at the moment.

tinted one tail light yesterday. I messed up so i'm gonna redo it this weekend.

IMO, it came out too dark i wish i knew where this guy got his smoked vinyls b/c i think this is the perfect tail tint color:

If anyone knows what vinyl is used in the photo above, i'd greatly appreciate it if you could let me in on the info :]
